Life Story: Irving Green, 85; Native Of Leipzig, Germany

Irving Green, 85, passed away on December 26 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerville.

Mr. Green was born December 13, 1933 in Leipzig, Germany to the late Harry and Silvia (Soldinger) Green. In 1938, he immigrated to the states and settled in Brooklyn, NY. He lived in Somerset for many years, retiring in Aventura, Fl. before relocating to Hillsborough 18 months ago.

Irving earned a bachelors of Applied Science from CCNY. He was a Vice President-Operations Manager for Conair in Edison and a real-estate property manager. He was also an entrepreneur in hair care and a licensed Real Estate agent. Irving loved going to the gym and was very tech savvy. He also enjoyed the many gatherings with his group for coffee at Starbucks.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Max and Joe Green.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elaine Green; his sons, Mark and his wife Barbara Green and Jeff and his wife Joan Green; his four grandchildren, Stacy, Michael, Jason and Justin; his two great-grandchildren, Gabriella and Asher, and many nieces and nephews.
