Gladys Mancuso, 86, Formerly Of Monroe

Gladys MancusoGladys Mancuso, formerly of Monroe Township, died Aug. 26 at the Regency in Somerset. She was 86 years old and was born in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph and Antoinette Merolle.

She was a loving Mom to her daughter Linda and her husband Earl Walker Jr., her daughter Laurie and her husband John Filiberti, and her son Mark. She was a wonderful and doting grandmother to Nicole, Julia, and Jack. Gladys was pre deceased by her husband Alfonso Mancuso in 2014 after 58 years of marriage,

Gladys loved spending time with her friends and family, Atlantic City, Bingo, Mah Jong, anything chocolate and black jelly beans. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her television shows.

She is survived by her sisters Joanne Vernotico and Mary Austin, and by her brothers Robert and Michael Merolle.

Visitation will be from 1-4pm on Sunday, August 28th at the Gleason Funeral Home. All other services will be private. Please consider a contribution in Gladys’ memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
