Aug. 3

During the daytime hours a residence on Church Street was burglarized by an unknown actor. There were no signs of forced entry. Approximately $3000 in electronics and other property was taken.

During the morning hours an unknown actor broke the window of a vehicle parked on Easton Avenue. The approximate value of the window was $250

Sometime during the daytime hours an unknown actor entered a residence on Baier Avenue and removed two flat screen TV’s

Stanly Matos, 18, of Somerset was arrested for possession of marijuana while on a motor vehicle stop. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released on his own recognizance.

Aug. 4

Willie Pitts , 41 of Piscataway was arrested on outstanding warrants issued by the Franklin Township Municipal Court. He was taken to the Somerset County Jail in default of $1750 bail.

Aug. 5

Lavon Cooley, 26, of Somerset was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued by the Franklin Township Municipal Court. He was taken to the Somerset County Jail in default of $1000 bail.

Aug. 6

Sometime in the evening hours an unknown actor took a mountain bike valued at $100 from a residence on Grier Road.

An unknown actor entered an unsecured vehicle on Skipton place during the overnight hours. A wallet containing various ID cards and $2000 in cash was taken

Sometime in the morning hours a decorative sheet valued at $80 was taken from the porch of a residence on Hamilton Street.

Michael Hampton, 27, of Somerset was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued by the Franklin Township Municipal Court. He was taken to the Somerset County Jail in default of $500 bail.

Aug. 8

Sometime during the overnight hours an unknown actor entered an unsecured vehicle on Douglas Avenue. Approximately $500 in electronics and other belongings were taken.

Sometime during the overnight hours an unknown actor took $4000 worth of tools from a trailer parked on Conerly Road.

During the evening hours an unknown actor “egged” a vehicle parked on Vetter Drive.

Kenneth Jennings, 51, of Somerset was arrested on outstanding warrants issued by the East Brunswick Municipal Court following a motor vehicle stop. He was turned over to the East Brunswick Police Department in default of $850 bail.

Aug. 9

During the overnight hours an unknown actor broke the rear window of a vehicle parked on Girard Ave. The window was valued at approximately $250
Sometime during the overnight hours an unknown actor smashed the window of a vehicle parked on Hamilton Street. An iPad valued at $700 was taken

During the overnight hours an unknown actor entered an unsecured vehicle parked on Wood Turtle Court. Approximately $750 in cash and $2000 in belongings were taken from the vehicle.

During the overnight hours an unknown actor entered an unsecured vehicle on Amberly Court. Electronics and cash with a value of $1000 were taken.

Yetsi Rodriguez, 22, of Somerset was arrested for possession of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released on his own recognizance.
