Franklin Township Artists Display Work in Somerville

franklin cultural arts councilAn exhibit of township artists’ works is on display through Dec. 6 in the Somerset County Cultural & Heritage Gallery in the county administration building, 20 Grove St., Somerville.

Entitled, “Bringing Our Community Together Through the Arts,” the exhibit is open from 8:30 a. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays.

The artists are members of the Franklin Township Cultural Arts Council, which recently celebrated its first anniversary.

The exhibit includes a range of mediums, from photography and oils to jewelry and pottery.

The FTCAC seeks to promote the expression and appreciation of the visual, literary and performing arts in Franklin Township and throughout the county, according to a release about the exhibit.  Those interested in learning more about the FTCAC can visit www.franklincac.org.
