Franklin Middle School Choir Wins Big At ‘Music In The Park’ Competition

On May 27, the Franklin Middle School was represented incredibly well in Dorney Park at the Music In The Parks Competition.

The choir took 1st place with a Superior rating in the Middle School Mixed Choir category (the most competitive category of the day).

The soloist won Best Overall Vocalist, the band took 2nd in their category with an Excellent rating, the orchestra took 1st with a Superior rating.

Also received, the Esprit De Corps Award which is given to the best overall school in the competition and considers their behavior, respect, sportsmanship, and the way that the students presented themselves on and off the stage.

Amazing talent! Incredible teachers!

Here is "Shenandoah" from today's competition. Not seen in the video is our excellent student accompanist/singer, Bryce. Our soloist, Alexandra, won best overall vocalist.

Here is "Ride On, King Jesus" from today's competition. The kids LOVED this piece, as you can probably tell. FHS Gospel Choir alum will appreciate this one!!!
