A program initiated by Flemington Car & Truck Country’s president resulted in a $600 donation Aug. 14 to the Elizabeth Avenue School PTO.

Through the program, run exclusively in conjunction with the Franklin Reporter & Advocate, any purchase made by a Franklin Township resident of a new or used auto at Flemington Car & Truck Country will generate a $200 donation from the dealership to the township school PTO of their choice.

The program was initiated by Steve Kalafer, the dealership’s president.

Township resident Darrin Russo recently purchased three autos from the dealership, earning his designated PTO $600.

Accepting the check from Kalafer were Wendy Riga, incoming president of the Elizabeth Avenue School PTO, and Jen Hughes, an EAS teacher who taught two of Russo’s children.

To qualify for the rebate, bring this coupon with you when you make a purchase. Flemington Car & Truck Country is located at 211 Route 202, Flemington.
