‘The Best Of Franklin’ Celebrated At Franklin Community Night

BRIDGEWATER – Franklin Township residents’ success was celebrated July 27 at the Franklin Community Night held at TD Bank Ballpark.

Sponsored by the Franklin Reporter & Advocate and the Business Alliance of Franklin Township, and presented by the Somerset Patriots, the evening was also a fundraiser for the township-based Sisters Network of Central New Jersey.

The pre-game festivities were all Franklin, with township residents’ accomplishments read by Alex Shedlock, president of the BAFT, and member Christina Gordon, Mayor Phillip Kramer greeted the crowd, and Alex Kharazi, the FR&A 2016 Man of the Year, threw out a first pitch.

PJ Parker. the FR&A co-publisher and advertising director and vice president of the BAFT, sang “God Bless America.”
